Terms and conditions, and withdrawal.
This is an English translation for convenience. The German version is legally authoritative.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases on markus-angerer.com as well as sign-ups for workshops and coaching. The contracting party is Markus Angerer, Schillerstraße 2, 8280 Fürstenfeld, Austria, reachable at hello@markus-angerer.com.
The presentation of books, editions, workshops and coaching offers on this website is not a binding offer but an invitation to submit one. The essential characteristics of each product or service appear on its product page and during checkout. By completing checkout, you submit a binding offer. The contract is formed once I confirm your payment.
All prices are final prices in euros. Shipping costs and the chosen shipping method are shown separately before you place your order. The tax information relevant for invoicing appears on your invoice.
Payment runs through the payment provider Stripe, using the payment methods shown at checkout. The price is due on completion of the order; delivery follows only after payment is confirmed. Stripe processes your payment data as a processor within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation. I never receive full card details. Further information is in the Privacy Policy.
If a payment fails, no entitlement to the product or service arises. A new attempt with a different payment method is possible. Refunds are issued free of charge to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Once payment is confirmed, you receive access to your digital edition in your library. Your access remains in place for as long as the library is operated, for at least twelve months from purchase. I will announce any change or discontinuation in good time and provide you with a backup copy beforehand.
Digital editions are PDF files without copy protection. They can be read on all common devices and with all common PDF software. You need no special hardware or software. Your digital edition is personalised to you and carries a license marking.
This digital edition is licensed for your personal use. Redistribution, reproduction or public sharing beyond the applicable statutory exceptions is not permitted.
Because these are digital contents not supplied on a physical medium, your right of withdrawal ends once I have begun delivery, provided you expressly consented to this, acknowledged the resulting loss of your right of withdrawal, and received confirmation of that on a durable medium.
I ship printed books and Fine Art Prints within Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Shipping costs and the estimated delivery time are shown to you before you complete your order. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, I ship within five business days of confirmed payment.
Deliveries to Switzerland may incur import duties, which you bear. The amount depends on Swiss regulations and is outside my control.
For printed editions you have the right, as a consumer, to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. Details are set out in the withdrawal notice. If you withdraw, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Registration for a workshop or coaching becomes binding upon payment. For workshops with a fixed date, no statutory right of withdrawal applies, since this is a service related to a leisure activity with an agreed date.
Independent of that, I voluntarily grant you the following cancellation terms. If you cancel or rebook up to 14 days before the date, I refund the full amount. If you cancel later, I retain 50 percent of the price. If you name a substitute participant, no cancellation fee applies. If I have to cancel myself, you receive a full refund.
For one-on-one coaching without a fixed date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. If, at your express request, coaching begins during this period, you owe, in the event of withdrawal, the proportionate amount for the service provided up to that point.
The statutory warranty rights apply. Toward consumers, these rights are neither excluded nor limited.
For printed editions and prints, the warranty period is two years from handover. For digital editions, I warrant any defect that exists at the time of delivery and appears within two years of that time.
All photographs, texts and designs on this website, as well as in the books and editions, are protected by copyright. Any use beyond the scope granted and beyond the statutory exceptions requires my express written consent.
I am liable under statutory provisions for intent and gross negligence, and without limitation for personal injury. For slight negligence, other than for personal injury, I am liable only for breach of material contractual obligations. Mandatory statutory liability provisions, such as under product liability law, remain unaffected.
You can declare your withdrawal at any time through the withdrawal function at markus-angerer.com/withdrawal. The routes by email to support@markus-angerer.com or by post to my address remain open to you as well. I confirm receipt without delay on a durable medium, stating the content of your declaration together with the date and time of receipt.
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers habitually resident in another state, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that state remain unaffected. For disputes with businesses, the court with jurisdiction over my place of business is competent.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
